Register Now For Forest Management Class
The award-winning Forest Management for the Private Woodland Owner course registration is now open for 2026. This class will cover topics including tree identification, forest biology and history, forest management planning and practices, wildlife management, considerations for selling timber, forest economics and taxation, and resources and assistance available to forest landowners. This course is recommended for landowners wanting to become more knowledgeable and active in forest biology and management. It will also offer Saturday field days will provide in-person experience with forest biology and management demonstrations and instruction.
There are several options around the state to attend this class.

- Virtual- Watch videos on topics with three live online sessions. $15 register here
This excellent class will allow you to become a better steward of your woodland. It also allows you to connect with other woodland owners and learn from their experiences as well. This class would also make a great Christmas present for family members.
