Joe Caudell, Indiana Division of Wildlife, will discuss recent efforts to better understand deer populations and how they vary across the landscape.
Joe is state deer biologist with the Indiana DNR Division of wildlife. He earned his doctorate in wildlife biology from Utah State University and has served as wildlife disease biologist, urban wildlife biologist, and wildlife damage management specialist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture APHIS Wildlife Services. He holds a master’s degree from Utah State in wildlife biology and a bachelor’s degree in wildlife management from the University of Georgia.
The mission of the IN DNR Division of Wildlife is to enrich the quality of life for present and future generations by balancing the biological, ecological, recreational, and economic benefits of Indiana’s fish, wildlife and their habitats.
