Forestry field day: Perry County
Time 8-noon CDT, 9-1 PM EDT. On site registration begins at 7:30 AM.
Join Dave and Carol Niehaus for a morning tour of their property in scenic Perry County. Dave and Carol are excited to lead this walking tour that showcases the property history and their hands-on management activities. Professional foresters will be present to offer their expertise and answer questions. Participants will see the results of very successful tree plantings, oak regeneration, timber stand improvement, invasive species control, wildlife habitat, and prescribed fire.
