Forest Management Tour
Jamie Winner, Ferdinand State Forest Property Manager, will lead a tour of a forest stand managed using different strategies. The area had a controlled burn conducted last April. The tour will begin at Maple Shelter. Come dressed for weather and bring closed toed shoes or boots.
Following the tour, attendees are welcome to join Four River Forestry Committee Members for a hot dog roast, provided by Friends of Ferdinand State Forest.
