Forest Management for the Private Woodland Owner- Virtual

The award-winning Forest Management for the Private Woodland Owner virtual course registration is now open for 2026. Three live online meetings will provide opportunities for participants to ask questions and receive updated information from the course instructor related to the recorded videos available to view anytime by the registrants. Topics covered include tree identification, forest biology and history, forest management planning and practices, wildlife management, considerations for selling timber, forest economics and taxation, and resources and assistance available to forest landowners. This course is recommended for landowners wanting to become more knowledgeable and active in forest biology and management.

The three live online sessions will be on Wednesdays, Feb. 18, March 11 and April 1, 2026 6:30 to 8:30 pm Eastern. Course registration is limited and ends 2/13/2026. Registration fee is $15.
