Forest Management for the Private Woodland Owner- Tippecanoe County

The award-winning Forest Management for the Private Woodland Owner Tippecanoe County course registration is now open for 2026. Eight evening meetings will cover topics including tree identification, forest biology and history, forest management planning and practices, wildlife management, considerations for selling timber, forest economics and taxation, and resources and assistance available to forest landowners. This course is recommended for landowners wanting to become more knowledgeable and active in forest biology and management. Two Saturday field days will provide in-person experience with forest biology and management demonstrations and instruction. Course meetings will take place on Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 pm Eastern between March 5 and April 23, 2026. Course registration is limited and ends 2/28/2026. Registration fee is $50.
