The Stark Property is located a few miles north of Knox, Indiana. Mike Stark is the 2018 Deam Award Winner which recognizes Indiana woodland owners who have demonstrated exceptional management of their woodlands.This property has been actively managed for hardwood timber production for a number of years. Many hardwood tree plantings were established over the years on this site. These plantings are a great example of what works and what
doesn’t. Specific emphasis has been given to protecting the seedlings from deer.
