Free, register to receive a Zoom link at: https://inwoodlandapr9.eventbrite.com/

Dan Childs will take us on a woodland walk to see examples of the ephemeral wildflowers you might see in the spring. Dan has a passion for teaching and is often invited to speak on wildflower identification and invasive plant management at public and private events. He is the author of 3 wildflower books, Back Roads, Into the Woods, and A Prairie View. He currently works part-time at Prophetstown State Park, is a member of the Indiana Native Plant Society (West Central chapter), and is often asked to lead wildflower hikes for various organizations.

Indiana Native Plant Society’s mission is:

  • To promote the appreciation, preservation, scientific study, and use of plants native to Indiana.
  • To teach people about their beauty, diversity, and importance to our environment.

This session is part of the IFWOA webinar series, monthly through April. See the full list of events.
